Gurué

Gurué is a little town in the heart of the mountains of central Mozambique and the starting point for climbing the country's second highest mountain - Namuli. It is also the only place in Mozambique with an alpine climate suitable for growing tea. This little chapel stands just at the edge of the town and overlooks a beautiful valley of thatched mud huts and lush green sea of tea plantations and eucalyptus groves.
